Look at these Michigan temperature maps: they’re orange and great for a long time
Michigan is at the start of a long stretch of temperatures that hardly anyone can complain about. When we look at the high temperature forecast maps each day for the next 10 days, we see orange. This means that the temperatures will neither be extremely hot nor extremely cold.
Michigan will be located in the best weather spot in America over the next 10-day week. The western half of the United States is sizzling with temperatures in the 90s and even exceeding 100 degrees. The northeast corner of the United States will be a little too cool for this time of year. Michigan will be sitting right in the middle, with the coolness to the east holding back the super hot weather just to our west.
Here are the maximum temperatures predicted for each day from today August 10 to Friday August 19.
Most afternoons within 10 days will have temperatures between 75 degrees and 80 degrees for the southern half of Lower Michigan. Northern Lower Michigan and the Upper Peninsula will have afternoon high temperatures between 70 degrees and 75 degrees.
Can we do better than these temps during a time in August that can be scorching?
But we always say it’s not the heat, it’s the humidity. The other good part of this weather pattern is that the humidity level will be in the comfortable zone for most hours. We have a thunderstorm or two this weekend. During the lead up to a thunderstorm, we might get a few sticky hours.
So it’s a fantastic time for all to get out there and enjoy. Most of us will be very comfortable over the next 10 days of August here in Michigan.
